My name is Sophie more commonly called soph[: I’ve started this website because I was just absolutely inspired by all the blogs i had been reading. I’m a crazy teenager american girl who looooves cooking and is currently living in london. its wonderful! in the summer of 2009, i went back to new york. everyone kept telling me how great i looked. i had lost weight naturally though. so i thought if i kept losing weight then people would think i looked even better. BOY WAS I WRONG! i lost 40 pounds in one summer! i went from a perfectly healthy bmi of 21 to a scary 14.3 – i had fallen into the horrible grip of anorexia. from august to november i gained back to a healthy bmi of 18.5! i do track now and am also going to start i have my life back and things are going great! i currently eat healthy yummy foods and am enjoying life as a teen! Well thank you so much for reading and I will be sure to keep on posting!

Hey it’s great to see that you are recovering so well! I too began reading a lot of blogs about health and fitness, but instead decided to create a blog to help other people based on my knowledge. I have always been active and am looking to get certified as a fitness instructor. I used to have my own dance school but moved after I got married. So I got heavily involved with a gym and now love every minute of it! So I’m using my website to help give other people some insight about truly becoming fit start from the inside out. It’s all about our hearts

Thanks so much for your sweet comment.
I can totally relate. I went on vacation one summer and lost a bit of weight naturally, but then took it too far once I got home.
It’s nice to know that someone else can relate to what I’ve been through.

Your blog is very nice! I have been struggling with anorexia since middle school. I also do track. When I read your “about me” I just felt I had a lot in common with you so I decided I should comment
Take care & stay strong
